It’s been a few months since KBI was nothing more than an idea buzzing around in the air and since then alot has changed. We have been busy bees and gradually growing with the support of some great people (you know who you are!) and we continue to head in the right direction.
It’s great to love what you do but running a business certanly has it’s challenges and the road has been very interesting so far, every challenge brings with it a new opportunity and the people we’ve met make the journey worth while.
Our goal is simply to create mouth dropping, eye popping explosive work that makes our clients jump around with excitement and so far that’s exactly what we’ve done. Creating brands, websites and content that is truly unique and memorable.
To help us achieve this we need a new graphic designer to join the team…before we get into the details let’s have an intro….
KBI is a design and advertising team based in Edinburgh, working with clients across the central belt of Scotland. We’re a work hard, play hard team and we certanly know how to let our hair down and get on the dance floor! We support each other throughout each project and we like to watch movies.. the Lion King is up there in the top 10. It’s not uncommon to hear a sound track followed by people randomly bursting into song – it’s just what happens here.
If you’re still up for it, here’s the details.
A keen eye for detail and likes to work in a fast paced team you should be confident managing your time and meeting deadlines under pressure. You will be expected to take part in meetings, liase with clients while getting involved in anything thats happening on a daily basis.
Essential Skills:
**Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator)
**Understanding of Web Interface Design
** Excellent attention to detail with a creative approach to the aesthetics of design
**A willingness and desire to learn, grow and move forward with the KBI team
The Desirables:
** Minimum 2 years working within an agency
** Experience working on large scale print and/or web campaigns for corporate industries
